That is a wrap! After almost 8 years we wrapped SEAL Team. What a ride it has been personally and professionally. I am so thankful to have been a part of that project and will miss all those involved as we move on to other projects. Speaking of other projects more to come soon about @ajbuckley and my new podcast and show we can’t wait to share. On another note, one thing I want to mention is identity. After working on this show for so long, I realized today I have a tendency to put my identity into my work and I’m sure many people reading this can relate. I know when I got out of the military I didn’t know who I was outside of what I did. It took me a lot of time and effort to figure who I really was out so don’t be discouraged if you are still in that phase. Recognize it, accept it and then put in the time and effort to find that person. For me I can tell you that who I really was was better than who I thought I was and I have no doubt you will find the same. Thanks for all the support over the run of this show and I promise that I will now have the time to focus on putting out the content to help veterans that I have been working on for so long! Thanks and onward!
Season 7 not too far away! Few things feel cooler to wear than a Cyre Tiger stripe uniform! Trying to look hard in the first one for TV promotional purposes but the real me is the second photo. As I start putting out daily motivational content I will start with this: just start. I don’t care what it is but if you want to do it just start. Remember it is impossible to be great in the beginning of anything so stop waiting till you think you’re good enough. You get good enough by starting and continuing! Comment below what you have been waiting to start so we can all encourage each other to get over that hesitation and begin!

*WARNING GRAPHIC* 3rd picture. Dec 2nd 2020 I was hit by a car while riding my motorcycle. This was me not very smartly attempting to walk out of the ER while in a VERY intense amount of pain which you can see in my eyes. The 2nd picture is my helmet as I landed on my head then shoulder then back. Also, right before impact I jumped off the pegs causing my shin to catch the handle bars which seriously damaged my leg. I have posted no photos of the incident and not talked about it much at all until now. This accident really messed me up physically and mentally BUT it started me down a path of self discovery which changed my life In ways that I will be forever grateful for. The same thing happened when I got blown up. So the point of this post is this: You don’t know if anything is good or bad in the moment so try not to get caught up in it. The 4 worst events that happened to me in my life (which I discuss in my upcoming book) are the 4 things that led to the greatest things in my life. If you are currently in the middle of something painful, traumatic or stressful just know that it could end up being the event that leads you to everything you ever wanted. But it won’t do that automatically you have to make it happen. An injury? Let it be the motivation to fight back and get in the best shape of your life. A bad breakup? Let it lead you to find the love of your life. I know it’s cliche that we don’t chose what happens to us, but we do chose what we do with it. So do something with it! I have a feeling that the people that follow me are fighters so I know when life fights you and it will, you’ll fight back. If you do that nothing will ever defeat or destroy you. You got this, whatever it is.

Cris and I shot this awhile back and I’m sure both men and women can relate to this. She did all the editing and I think she did great! Have a great Sunday!
Today these were the Memorials that came the mind thinking about the people that were lost in those wars. The first because it is forgotten, the second because it is the Vets I grew up with and the third because the events of the great war are still with us every single day. Each year my perspective on this day changes. Some years I feel more guilty than others that I am able to selfishly post something as obviously the real ones this post is meant for aren’t the ones who will see it. This year I am posting this for the younger generations. It is impossible to overstate the importance of instilling in the younger generations the awareness that we have what we have today because people in the past were willing to fight and die for it. Why do I feel this message is so important today? Because sadly I fear in the not too distant future we will once again need a generation willing to fight to keep the freedoms we have. Today we remember the sacrifices of millions of men and women who fought in wars past and who made the ultimate sacrifice to earn them. I hope the younger generations understand that sacrifice and realize that one day we may have to protect them once again. Happy Memorial Day

ADR today for SEAL Team which essentially means adding or replacing words you said or didn’t say. It was good to see parts of some of the episodes especially the one I was lucky enough to be able to write with an awesome co-writer. I’m super excited for people to see the final season! It is the end of an era for me for sure. I learned so much this last almost 8 years and I feel like I grew up on this show. In many ways I was a child when it started, I didn’t know who I was, what I wanted but most importantly: I didn’t know how to feel. Don’t get me wrong I am still learning but it feels good to be feeling. For everyone on here (not just fellow vets reading this): is this something you have struggled with as well? If so, stay tuned as I will be showing people my journey towards feeling, what’s helped me, what hasn’t and even what’s made it worse. I hope it helps people! Have a great weekend everyone!
Went to the movie last night with the love of my life to see: “The Fall Guy”. Very entertaining and fun to watch. To me movies are always better in the theaters but then again maybe just because that’s how I grew up. I also probably liked it more because there is a bunch of inside jokes about the entertainment industry that I appreciated. Anyways go check it out I thought it was a lot of fun. On a personal note I just finished working on a film project and am now taking a BREAK! I will be focusing on finishing my book and launching the associated community based website to go along with the book. Starting tomorrow my IG and social media content will start to reflect my new venture which will be putting out content promoting healing and personal growth. I’ve been talking about this for awhile so: Why has it taken me so long to do this? I will address this as my content over the next few days. Thanks for the support as always!
Decided it was such a beautiful day that we should hit the beach after our dentist appointments! The amazing love of my life @cristiane_ferreira_fit jumping in to frame to make the video more fun like she jumped in and makes everyday for me that way! **Truth in social media**! Not every day of mine is this amazing WHICH IS WHAT MAKES IT AMAZING! Also, just because you see someone on IG post their good days, it doesn’t mean they don’t have their bad ones! Anyone who has following me for some time knows I have had my dark times (Several) and so my my goal on here is to let people know that they can change themselves and get the life they want. For me getting the life I wanted started with me realizing that the reason I didn’t yet have that life was: me. More on that later but once I realized I was the problem I then knew the solution.

Today’s Motivation! Like Abe: Be honest. I used to lie a lot, mostly to myself. Honesty is the key to authenticity and people are drawn to that. So while you think you may need to hide certain aspects of yourself to be liked, the reality is that it is actually what is holding back from it. Try being honestly 100% yourself and see what happens. Anyone who leaves shouldn’t have been there anyway.

80th Anniversary of the D-Day landings. I was lucky enough to be there 10 years ago to speak to a few dozen Normandy Raiders which was an experience I will NEVER forget. Talking to them in person on the beach was surreal and life changing. Today though I had a thought that I didn’t have back then. I truly can’t fathom in 60-70 years going to a place where a battle I was in was fought. Now make no mistake, I was in nothing REMOTELY comparable and that is part of my point: even the small “battles” I was in I can’t even begin to imagine what it would be like let alone feel like to go back there when things are completely different. I cannot comprehend how these veterans feel and how strange it must be to be there so many years later. One thing I can understand is that had they not of done what they did, then there is no way they would have the freedom to go there now. We live daily on the edge of a world where our freedoms are taken and we need to remember days like today when some people stood up and committed to taking back freedom by force. The younger generations need to understand that war should always be the last option but if all else fails there is no other option.
Did a new episode of “Beers and Breakdowns” with @seanbuckrogers and @thefngacademy ! Check it out on their YouTube channel there is a link in their bio! On this episode we broke down the film “6 Days” which is about the real life hostage rescue raid of the Iranian Embassy in London in 1980. It is one of the most famous CT missions ever and for good reason! The legendary OG commandos of the SAS did an amazing job on the rescue and the film, while partially fiction stays pretty close to the real events. I am a huge fan of the SAS as well as SBS based on my personal experiences working with both units. Check out the episode I hope whoever watches digs it!

My first motivational style video. Logically nothing is more important to ourselves than ourselves right? Because of this we should always value ourselves more than anything level 10. But some of us don’t this video is for the ones that have struggled with that valuation. Here I talk about why we haven’t and how to fix it. Don’t let anyone dictate how you feel about you.
Randomly walked up on a Ford Shelby Vehicle competition so decided to do a live to show everyone! Some pretty sweet cars here! Have a great Sunday!
