Growing up, being an esquire man was the epitome of style and masculine refinement. Dramatic, yet assured … being able to see myself on this is literally a dream come true! I don’t know how to celebrate this day… it never feels like much of a celebration…I lost my best friend and life stopped being the same. I now know the importance of people and moments different than before…I hear your voice… I see you everywhere especially in the mirror and in my sisters hands and her logic. I pray that I can be the man that you always dreamed of me becoming. I’m working to, I stumble but I’m walking towards it. I pray you help…it’s hard but I’m working. Losing you shifted reality but I’m working. I’m trying to stay kind, I’m learning to develop control and patience… losing you has forced me to confront acceptance … I’m still fighting with that one. I want to walk in the greatness you saw for me … I try to be the gentleman that you always deserved, even though I can’t be all things for everyone I see that daily. I miss you with every fiber of my body; even parts of me I haven’t gained acquaintance with yet knows you. We all miss you…sometimes it doesn’t seem like the world misses you but my world misses you…it’s so hard being my own compass now but I’m learning coco. You always were stern but forgiving, hard but open and I love u…happy Mother’s Day to u. I don’t know the secrets of this universe but l beg we see each other again.
