Aakriti Rana Instagram – Had to spend 17k extra, dad se daant bhi khaai but man the view made me forget everything! We just had a week in Alaska and I REALLY wanted my dad to experience the northern lights. The cloud coverage was high almost every night except this one night. We were in a rush to take the car out and go to an open patch from where we can view the lights and the car got stuck right outside our Airbnb. I thought we missed this one chance also to see the lights but when I looked up, there they were! The lights kept getting stronger and it was absolutely beautiful. After so many sleepless nights, we finally saw them ❤️ The funniest part was that everyone was busy trying to take out the car and dig the snow out and I kept pulling everyone one by one to watch the lights and take their pictures 🤣 I knew that they’ll thank me later! It’s a once in a lifetime thing for so many people. P.s FAIRBANKS in Alaska is one of the BEST places to see the northern lights in the world. The KP index on the Aurora app for this place is always high. If the cloud coverage is low, you would 100% see the lights!
