Also bc I’m a wet blanket I have to say that I was truly surprised we were renewed. We absolutely deserved it, we were both critically acclaimed and have a solid fanbase, Chris Sheridan is the hardest working man in the biz and he and @alantudyk along with the rest of us make something that is enduring and magical and fun and real and frankly important to a lot of people. ***BUT*** right now most people I know are not working. Really, REALLY good actors and comedians and writers who have made the majority of the stuff you loved in the last decade are losing their health insurance and waiting tables. I am saying this mostly bc I want to celebrate this win but I can’t sit here and pretend all is well just because I have job security for one more year. All is not well, Hollywood is still run by a handful of finance bros who hate movies, and until we take it back the jobs aren’t coming back. Also, free 🇵🇸
