Gobsmacked. Indiana designed, sewed, detailed, branded and modeled this insanely gorgeous, reversible dress. 🪡 She did it all herself. I’m not going to lie – the week has been more than ups and downs. It was a lot of stimulation and unknown for our sensitive kid – but she mindfully and bravely pushed through – and because of that, she grew her craft and exploded into her passion. Check out that catwalk confidence! So thankful to @theunincorporatedlife staff of artists and makers (Ms. Summer – you have no idea how much your kindness meant to us). Sobbing the good tears over here tonight. 🩷 (Last pic is when we arrived this morning and she didn’t want to go in – so we stood on the sidewalk down the block until she was ready. My heart).
When your friends from afar, who are a little more near now, come over for brunch and kindly insist on taking a pic of your family. And then one takes a pic of the other readying to take the pic. When I was young, we went camping a lot – and I hated it. Then, I went camping as a young adult – and still hated it. 🤣This weekend, we went camping with friends and families from @elriocommunityschool – and I didn’t hate it. Not even a little bit. 🌟🤪🥰 Grateful for those that made me relax and have more ease. MOST grateful for my husband who made me laugh hysterically when he fell through a busted camp chair. I really needed that. Also, he still hates camping. Mostly. But our child will never know it. 🩷
