Still living in this pinch me moment. So proud to team up with my amazing partner Julie Lee @julielee75, a veteran and badass in advertising. Introducing @rosy.productions, an AAPI female-owned production company in the advertising space, committed to representing women of color and POC in front of and behind the camera. While I’ll continue developing/producing in film and TV (I’ve been having so much fun!), Julie and I are dedicated to addressing the lack of diversity in advertising through Rosy—especially among Asian and Asian American women, who make up less than 1% of C-suite promotions.⁣

One of my most distinct memories is obsessively watching Nickelodeon as a kid. I vividly remember a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup commercial showing a little Asian girl for a mere 2 seconds. That brief moment made me feel seen and showed me that it was possible for people like me to exist on screen and confidently within our world. A massive thank you to our panelists moderator who prove that having agency and ownership in their companies is absolutely possible @kristincorpuz_ @michimichibee @michsugi @victoriaisabelrey @immbunny and to our rockstar founding team @djlilvibey @definitelydanni.
