I know you’re going through it, babe. Me too.😮💨 Life has been kicking my ass lately. Like for real. These past few months have been some of the lowest of my entire life and I’m truly grateful for all of the deep work that I’ve done over the years so that I can fully support, nurture, love, and accept myself and this phase of life that I’m in. Is it always easy? Fuck no. But I’m here, and I’m smiling, dancing, resting, loving, and offering myself every opportunity to experience joy and play and pleasure. Can I offer myself more? YES. There is always room for more and that’s the beauty of being Feminine. We get to expand as much as we’d like. But greater expansion requires greater responsibility to yourself and to others. In my most recent IG live, @jameelahcreates and I spoke about melanin, magnetism and manifestation and the perfect recipe for creating magic in your life: ✨Accept where you are. You aren’t meant to fight this current phase, you’re meant to allow it to push, pull, and stretch you into who you need to become in order the hold the magnitude of what you’re calling in. ✨Gratitude! As a teenager, I would cry and feel angrily helpless when thinking about the suffering of Women and girls around the world. I didn’t understand how people could be aware of the endless rape, trafficking, child marriages, female genital mutilation and the countless other ways the female human is used, abused, and discarded around the world. I refused to accept what I was being told by religion, society, and our abysmal education system about who the Woman is and her purpose on the planet. Thankfully, I never lost my drive for answers and have dedicated my life to understanding who we really are, which answers why Women and girls as a collective experience so much hardship and brutality. And as my understanding has deepened, it has not lessened my rage, only fueled it. The rage that we feel for painful aspects of our shared reality is not meant to be directed out at others in the form of blame and violence, nor is it meant to be directed inward in the form of victimhood and helplessness. Your rage is meant to be channeled into passionate, loving acts of service that allow for the creation of new paradigms that will grow and expand, eclipsing the current consciousness that is teaching us that the lie is more powerful than the truth. I taught my client who was drowning in grief fueled rage and helplessness over the deaths of her daughter and husband how to bear loving witness to her emotions and experience them with bravery and love. And now, she has channeled that grief and rage into passionate service for other Women who have also experienced tremendous loss. Her initial approach was destructive to herself and her loved ones. Her redirected approach has not only healed her, but will help heal countless others. This is alchemy. This is true transformation. This is healing. This is power. I embody so much passion and intensity that I sometimes feel like I could consume the whole world with the force of what circulates inside of me. As a teenager, I would cry and feel angrily helpless when thinking about the suffering of Women and girls around the world. I didn’t understand how people could be aware of the endless rape, trafficking, child marriages, female genital mutilation and the countless other ways the female human is used, abused, and discarded around the world. I refused to accept what I was being told by religion, society, and our abysmal education system about who the Woman is and her purpose on the planet. Thankfully, I never lost my drive for answers and have dedicated my life to understanding who we really are, which answers why Women and girls as a collective experience so much hardship and brutality. And as my understanding has deepened, it has not lessened my rage, only fueled it. The rage that we feel for painful aspects of our shared reality is not meant to be directed out at others in the form of blame and violence, nor is it meant to be directed inward in the form of victimhood and helplessness. Your rage is meant to be channeled into passionate, loving acts of service that allow for the creation of new paradigms that will grow and expand, eclipsing the current consciousness that is teaching us that the lie is more powerful than the truth. I taught my client who was drowning in grief fueled rage and helplessness over the deaths of her daughter and husband how to bear loving witness to her emotions and experience them with bravery and love. And now, she has channeled that grief and rage into passionate service for other Women who have also experienced tremendous loss. Her initial approach was destructive to herself and her loved ones. This is one of my favorite IG Lives I’ve ever done!! Every woman that was present in the live said that they felt activated and LIT UP! It was such a joy and pleasure to speak with @jameelahcreates about the incredible healing modality, KAP (Kundalini Activation Process) that she will be offering to the guests of my upcoming retreat, RADIANCE, in Costa Rica from March 26th – March 31st. Jameelah is a powerhouse of a Woman with a grounded, ancient presence. I told her that she holds the energy of The Grandmother, with tree roots that have grown miles deep. The first 5-7 years of a child’s development are the most important, as it is during this time that their sense of self and how they will choose to show up in the world is established. They learn by observing and absorbing their environment, most importantly, the behaviors, actions, and treatment of their parents. As a mother, you are the physical representation of God, The Divine Feminine, The Great Mother to your daughter-child. You are the source from which she originates, and the example that you embody will become encoded into her consciousness, expressing itself through her in a multitude of ways. By the time she becomes a young teen, beginning her first rites of passage into what will eventually become Womanhood, it will be very challenging to correct any false conditioning that she has internalized due to what was modeled to her. For better or worse, the type Woman that she becomes is directly correlated to the type Woman that you embody. But it is never too late, because as daughters, we never stop observing our mothers. We never stop wanting more for her, we never stop craving her true essence. Regardless of the example you have consciously or unconsciously molded your daughter through, you have the ability to rise and show a new example of resilience, grace, and a depth of self love that has the power to change the trajectory of your entire family. That is how powerful and essential the Woman, the Mother, is. And even if you have never or will never birth a child, these precious girls are all of our daughters, we owe them the chance to be their fullest selves, and they can only learn to do that through our example. They are watching us and depending on us to lead them with bravery and love. Let us choose to become more so that our daughters learn to live lives with no limits on who they can become. . .
