A big thank you to Acting Governor Pak @herubudihartono for ‘visiting’ this Jakarta’s diaspora in Canada! 😄 It’s not easy to stay updated on news from Indonesia while living in Canada, especially with Bill C-18 making social media news harder to access. I was fortunate to have a catch-up chat with Mr. Heru and get an update about Jakarta. After relocating Indonesia’s capital to IKN, Jakarta is set to become a global city, which means progress in equal education, improved public facilities and safety, and continued economic growth.
