It is with great sadness and relief that I share the loss of my little prince Guy, who has shared my life for over 20 years. He started failing in early December so I made him a deal- if he would make it through the holidays in ease, if we could share one more warm and festive holiday season snuggled under blankets watching old movies, then I would help him continue his journey and stop trying to hold him so tightly to me. And so we did…on January 1st his heart started failing and luckily the appointment was already made. Before it could become painful and scary and traumatic for us both he was peacefully reunited with Lucy, who we have both missed greatly since she left us, and who I know welcomed him gently on the other side. I love you Guy.. you were the sweetest simplest lover of a cat from day 1 when you crawled into my lap and started purring when I picked you up off the side of the road, eyes barely open, hungry and needing someone to take care of you. You were immediately adopted by Lucy, who thought you were her own baby, and took care of you her whole life. You never stopped purring. It was a constant sound in my home and the loss of which has made this space that is left too quiet, as if the orchestra has lost an instrument section. I mourn you and I also am relieved that we avoided any pain at the end. Your presence will be forever missed but I will carry your existence with me always.

Things you do between takes…
Was fortunate to spend a few days on set with this lovely cast and crew playing softball! If you know me you’d know it was the marriage of two of my favorite places- set and a softball field…and although our first day together was rained out after lunch I had the absolute JOY of taking two teams of players and their siblings and friends into the gym where we were to stay dry and pulling out every piece of sporting equipment we could find to have an indoor play session while the grownups reconfigured our day. * Also shoutout to @datvikingtho for the DnD style game night at the hotel they let me crash-which was SO MUCH FUN! Go watch these amazingly sweet and talented girls in the sweetest film about sisterhood and finding your path- they are delightful to watch! Truly a heartwarming experience to be a part of and thank you to the team for letting me pop in a play with ya’ll. And shout out to my past teammates (yall know who you are)and @cohornfan for years of her dedication and leadership during my own softball years- and for showing me what kind of coach I would want to be if I ever got the chance…❤️ @thegreatestevermovie out now on @amazonprime
