Missing my belly. This was just days before I gave birth. And in full transparency, one of the last times I felt beautiful and powerful in my body. The belly really did a lot for me. After birth I have the same body just without the belly and it’s been a struggle to accept, embrace and appreciate it these days. Postpartum is a time to be gentle and kind as you transition into this new life, but it’s a challenge everyday. I’ve just got to remind myself that it’s the same body that grew my beautiful children, the same body that felt powerful and beautiful in these pictures.
