But, I do know this… the past few years have been quite challenging for many of us💔 I have openly shared that I have had #longcovid with pre-existing health conditions that have caused me to take a hiatus from the people & things I love. After getting very sick again last year, some issues have been debilitating. I have been forced to go within to become clear on what is truly important in life🙏 I also want you to know that I have questioned my relevance & station in Hollywood & the #entertainment #entertainmentbusiness without being out on #film #tv sets or #redcarpet events & it has given me even more clarity about the business & how much I love the craft of #acting & creating quality #content with creators🎭 Like many, I #fear being forgotten, missing out on opportunities, or that all of my past accomplishments will not be enough… but, then I remember that we are all “enough” & we are all #divine in #divinetiming 🙌 Then, September comes again & I receive honoring invitations such as this one & more to come & I remember again how grateful I am for a career that spans over 25 years & the people & my loyal #fans who do not let me forget about my hard work, commitments, & accomplishments & my heart is filled with gratitude again🙏❤️ I hope each of you sits in gratitude for something & that you accept that you are “enough” & that my shares inspire you in some way🙌 I hope you have a most horrific #halloweenseason 🎃 & that you know I am grateful for you🙏👻 💋 #brookelewisbellas

I am incredibly honored to share another special #award that was announced at the #actorsawards 2023 @actorsawards the ‘Best Villain’ Award that I received for #acting in the role of Violet in the #audioseries #drama #thriller “A Voice In Violet” #avoiceinviolet 🏆💜 The extremely talented Ensemble cast recently won the ‘Best Voice Acting’ Award & I was humbly nominated, invited back, & honored with this unbelievable #bestvillain award in the lead role of Violet🎭💜 This is a unique & special honor to me for so many reasons🙏 As most of you know, I do not like to share my personal challenges here, as we are all going through challenges, and they are all relative & relevant🙏 If you have been reading my posts, you also know that I have been facing #longcovid & other infections that have greatly affected me with my pre-existing health conditions. I have been on hiatus from acting, something I love so much, for over a year. I am doing everything in my power to heal to the best of my ability, so I can get back out in the world and be with the people I love and do all the things I love in this life🙏💜 I share this to explain how special this project & award is to me, as it helps me to continue to believe in my dreams and goals. “Like many creatives, I was navigating the virtual and audio space during the pandemic. I had been in-talks with my Managers at Bohemia to develop an Audio Drama Series and have Philly Chick Pictures and I produce it, while still quarantining, to keep me creatively inspired. I appreciated Curt’s writing and SFX talents. He had pitched me a few fantastic storyline ideas, I loved A Voice In Violet, and we began our production development in 2021. We spent time fleshing out this series and assembling the necessary components. Hello you beautiful hearts and souls! As you know, I have been absent from life, work, and social media for some time. You also know I do not share much personal information on social media, but I felt compelled to share this post to let you know what is going on in my life and with hope to inspire you in some way. I had been dealing with past #autoimmune issues with #longcovid then caught a dreadful case of Covid Christmas 2023 and became more debilitated and hospitalized in 2024. I am not sharing this for sympathy, but to let you know that I am healing my way back to life very slowly. It has been the most challenging time of my life, but in ways, transformational. Regretfully, I have missed so many unbelievable life experiences with people I love and work with, but I am here and fighting and, as much as none of us knows what tomorrow will bring, I know I am incredibly blessed to have so much love in my life, and I cannot thank you enough for supporting me through these difficult times. That said, I hope to inspire by sharing that even during darkness comes light and miracles! One of my longtime career goals and dreams was to have a #series in the #indieseriesawards @indieseriesawards 🏆 Philly Chick Pictures was blessed to have both #avoiceinviolet and #redrooms nominated for several awards this year. I was heartbroken not to be able to attend, but I am still shocked and elated that I was honored with the ‘Best Actress Audio Fiction Series’ Award🏆 I want to congratulate all of the incredibly talented #nominees who I was surrounded by, some of whom I have had the opportunity to work with.
