Cara Jade Myers Instagram – This time last year I was in Cannes, France 🇫🇷 celebrating the world premiere of Killers of the Flower Moon! It was the first time I had seen it and I cried, a lot.
I cried because I was happy the world would finally see the Osages story, and the hard work that was put into making this film.
On top of that I cried every time the sisters died.
Then I cried when extremely talented people stood for nine minutes applauding. It was such a once in a lifetime experience and I cried because I was so overjoyed, overwhelmed, and so incredibly grateful to be in that moment.
Being a part of KOTFM will always be a huge blessing in my life. And I’m so grateful that the Osage trusted us with their extremely painful, personal, and powerful story. I will love you guys forever. And applaud your bravery in allowing the world to see what makes you so resilient.
I’m even more grateful when I look forward at what’s coming, knowing it was this moment that made it possible.
Thank you Marty for everything, Leo for your kindness and leadership, Bob for your strength, and Tantoo for always being there for me, I appreciate your friendship and guidance so much. ♥️
