This is such a ground breaking film that doesn’t only show a Native lead – (that isn’t about being Native) – but also shows a LGBTQ couple in a healthy relationship!! Plus- she did all her own stunts- such a badass!!
If you’ve had the pleasure of meeting Devery then you know she’s the sweetest, most hardworking person!! And I KNOW she’s going to do such amazing things in this world. She makes me so hopeful for the future of indigenous film & tv.
