Often a major Tory donor is given a peerage and goes straight into the House of Lords. Only a knighthood this time, must be the effect of inflation? 🔹Tories have been attempting to smear Angela Rayner after a book written by Michael Ashcroft alleged she may have avoided tax on sale of her council house which she bought in 2007. She says all is above board. 🔹Rayner was a teenage Mum (and she’s a good Mum). She later married and they had a baby boy born prematurely at 23 weeks. He spent 8 months in hospital and is registered blind. 🔹Tory newspapers have published his records and birth certificate 😡 🔹I’ve been keen to point out the scale of Tory hypocrisy. Daily Mail is owned ultimately by the Rothermere family through an offshore organisation. 🔹The man who wrote the book Michael Ashcroft is a major Tory donor based offshore. He was put into the House of Lords in spite of this and the Cabinet Office said he was to have become a UK citizen for tax. It didn’t happen. His interests remained offshore.He resigned from the Lords in 2015 🔹Ashcroft was also “Sexist Shaun” Bailey’s biggest donor in his failed attempt to become London Mayor 🔹Tory donors who have given the party £21 million own UK properties through 150 offshore companies 🔹ANDREA JENKYNS, made a Dame by Boris Johnson last year (the woman in the yellow dress giving the middle finger to protesters outside Downing St) was accusing Angela Rayner of lack of transparency. 🔹I pointed out Jenkyns’ lack of transparency as a Director of the Tufton St company Net Zero Watch which does not reveal its funding sources. Dark money eh? 🔹Jenkyns didn’t answer my question and just slung yet another petty personal insult at me about selfies. God these right wingers are dull and predictable aren’t they? 🔹Thames Water says it’s run out of money and will put up customers’ bills by up to 40%.
