Sometimes life deals you a left hook right to the f**kin jaw. Here’s to dusting myself off and gettin’ back to doin’ my damn thing. I turned 30 today — stepping into this new decade called for some massive changes, one being the relocation of my horses. We will now be working with the team of @winplacehome — an off the track thoroughbred organization who dedicates themselves to giving ottbs a second chance on life. I’m grateful to be here and am looking forward to growing along side these two creatures I reign guardian of. ✨🦁✨

the. big. dawg. 🤙🏼 I just learned that a horse can hear your heartbeat from 4 feet away. In the wild they actually synchronize their heartbeats with other members in their herd to sense danger more quickly. THAT’S INSANE. The effect your energy and state of being has on your horse is profound. Just another reminder that it is worth taking that extra moment to get right with myself before mounting his back. ✨ #remingtontheottb @tech_stirrups

This horse. 🖤 This past year has been focused on healing and setting ourselves up for the future. We went barefoot, we ordered a custom saddle, and now (as soon as the rain stops) it’s time to slowly get ourselves back into shape. It took a couple years of training to get this long boy muscled up and unfortunately he’s lost quiet a bit of that but it’ll come back with time and consistency.
