The book was a big hit with my sons @winstonjhaag @viraajjhaag @arthurjhaag and above all with me because it transported me to my childhood and the many years I spent growing up with my nature loving grand parents in Lucknow, Ranikhet and Shimla as well. It’s a fan girl moment for me as the first book that I received as a little girl was one written by mr Ruskin bond. It was gifted by my grandfather to my mother and then inherited by me and is truly a family treasure. About @ruskinbondofficial : Decorated with India’s highest civilian awards, Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan his first novel, The Room on the Roof, was published in 1956, and it received the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize in 1957.
