Chris Bath Instagram – Every time I have the honour of emceeing the @nswpolicelegacy #blueribbonball I meet incredible people like Senior Constable Margaret Richardson. Margie lost her husband Sergeant Geoffrey Richardson as he tried to assist colleagues apprehending a criminal. She says telling their seven year old son that his Daddy was never coming home is the hardest thing she’s ever had to do. His five month old brother was too young to understand. You could’ve heard a pin drop as Margie told 800 people her story & what happened when NSW Police Legacy stepped in to help. Thank you to everyone who donated or bought a table or sponsored tonight’s fundraiser, the first in two years (thanks Covid 🙄) And thanks to Margie for making people rip open their wallets 🙌🏻 then dance & sing & mingle to tunes from the actually live on stage, awesome @nswpolice band featuring the magnificent Belinda Parsons on vocals. | Posted on 26/Mar/2022 18:06:56
