My beautiful, kind, selfless and amazing mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer. I’ve watched her nurse and support her beloved sisters, mother, father and niece when they all fought courageous battles. She shows kindness EVERYWHERE. Loving her family so much, doting on her grandchildren and adoring Duke with all her heart, Knitting scarves for children in remote aboriginal communities, baking for friends who are struggling, always checking in on people she loves, cheering for their wins, shedding tears for their losses. My mother is incredible. And I’m so sad she has to face this battle now. I feel so stuck that I’m doing the only thing I know how to right now and that is to raise money for cancer research. I’m going to do it through the incredible ONJ wellness centre and I would absolutely love you to donate for me to walk 5k’s in honour of my amazing mother and try and make something positive come from the ugliness of a cancer diagnosis. The most joy to watch my love take the stage in Melbourne tonight, I could see the thoughts going through his head during the bows. ‘I’m home’. And it meant so many different things all at once. I’m so proud. @monicapmakeup literally brought me back from the death of a child up all night with croup. And @anna__fay saved the day when my dress didn’t arrive in time. As always @wheelsy49 stayed with Duke and cared for his sick little cough so I could come out and cheer the house down. 👏🏻 🕯️

Ok, although this tool is called DUET STYLE, because it allows you to blowout AND straighten your hair at the same time 🤯, I call it THE MUM WAND. Because it literally does my hair from wet to styled in 5 minutes. Yes I timed it. We have ALL attempted to straighten our hair before it was entirely dry and heard the sizzles from hair-hell and wished there was a better way. And now there is!! Watch me, someone with zero skill, make their hair look sleek just by using this tool like you would a hairbrush (in my story). I’ll be honest, doing my hair had become a VERY rare occurrence for me. I wasn’t even making it to the ‘MUM BUN’. But now- 5 minutes and I feel like I’m presentable. Sure I’ll still do daycare pickup in my pj’s some days; but at least my hair will be rockin. High recommend. 10/10. Gold medal. 5 stars. Thank you @ghdhair_anz geniuses #gifted (and if you think that the Sleek Talker styling oil isn’t the absolute best smelling and best nourishing oil in the land- then you, good sir, would be wrong).
