I cannot believe we are living through a time ::TODAY:: when Jews (an ethnic minority) are hunted down on college campuses to the point that they are DRIVEN OUT. And that so-call “progressives” would support the perpetrators and supporters of terrorism @columbia. I am in utter shock. I’ve been a New Yorker my entire life and I have never ever seen such unbridled and violent Jew hatred on our streets.
To me you ARE beautiful, sweet sweet friends. Thanks for being here and to those who celebrate: Shabbat Shalom x Chag Sameach!! #yiddish #klezmer
I would love for this page to be about making art and raising happy healthy children again. But this morning I woke up to a message from my sister that… wasn’t for me. It’s for the allies who have stuck around here. Who love Jewish people as they love any and all people. Tell your friends and family who are being fed age old hatred to STOP. Their pain and goodness is being used against them to perpetrate harm on a community who doesn’t deserve it. Please pass this on. Thank you. . #endjewhate #antisemitismus
Purim is the holiday that reminds us that JOY is a commandment and that BRAVERY a necessity. Here’s a throwback to the last time I was in Tel Aviv for Purim. 2022. It was a city wide celebration. I had never seen anything like it. Debauchery and Halacha woven together. A modern people bonded by ancient teachings. Dancing and singing in our ancestral tongue. May we all have reason to celebrate together always. . . . #happypurim #amyisraelchai #jewishandproud
Filmed this @oceans8movie scene when I was eight months pregnant and it’s circled the internet approximately eight million times since. Thought I’d secure a little square on my grid for it. 😆 Thanks to everyone who sends it my way. . . . #sandrabullock #oceans8 #oceans8edit
Love notes from the subway in NYC. . #shabbatshalom #lovetrumpshate

@daniellarabbani emerges as a beacon of light in “Here We Go Again,” embodying the essence of an Accidental Jewish Activist. Once living a life centered around her artistic passions and community, Daniella finds herself thrust into activism not by choice but by necessity, in the wake of rising antisemitism. Her journey is a compelling narrative of transformation, showcasing how the tendrils of hate can unexpectedly draw one into the fray of advocacy and resistance. Through Daniella, we witness the power of voice—how storytelling, empathy, and cultural engagement can become potent tools against bigotry. Her role transcends mere reaction; it’s about forging connections, educating others, and using her platform to challenge stereotypes and promote understanding. Daniella’s path from artist to activist underscores a crucial message of the film: in the face of darkness, every individual has the potential to ignite change, making activism an accessible and urgent calling for all. #herewegoagain #documentary #netflix #accidentaljewishactivist
🍟👅Fun fact when you shoot a @mcdonalds commercial on their lot in the heart of Hollywood, they bust out w French fries at five. Which was v well timed cause I had gone maybe five seconds without eating a carb while pregnant w Paz (I think I was like four months along here). They were freaking delicious. 👅🍟
I got to DISH on all things motherhood, hot mama life, doing sh*t my way, the bonkers rollercoaster of entrepreneurship and SO MUCH MORE. 🎙️ I trust @daniellarabbani with my life so we went DEEP DEEP. If I could sum up what I’ve learned from my seven years of motherhood my over 100 interviews with mothers of all stripes it’d be: this. Vered of @babyintune is a musician and therapist who works with families in the early years both in person and through her music (available on Spotify): helping create an in-tune, symbiotic bond between parent and child. In this episode of The Mom Curious Podcast we discuss those tender first years and the profound impact it has on the child’s life, how we can adjust in the older ages and we answer a listener question about that pre bedtime cranky hour. Vered is such a beautiful educator and her wisdom is much needed. Send this episode of @momcurious to your new mama friends. They’ll thank you for it. 💋💋💋 . . . #attachment #attachmenttheory #attachmentstyles #bondingwithbaby
Monday in my hometown of New York City: I went to mourn and learn @novaexhibition and as the tears dried on my cheeks, an antisemitic mob descended to protest, what? Grieving Jews? I urge you to go INSIDE this exhibit and pay your respects. LEARN SOMETHING before you mindlessly post. Before you put Jewish lives in danger again. GO BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE. They’ve extended their stay and will be open until the 22nd because WE WILL DANCE AGAIN. Thanks to my soul sisters @melissarosenfield and @joanieleeds for going together. And @ariana_rabbani for the beautiful עם ישראל חי gold ribbon. #wewilldanceagain #bringthemhomenow
I loved getting to know @amysho, best selling author of The Set Back Cycle on this week’s @momcurious. Available on all podcast platforms. If you are consciously (or unconsciously) navigating a setback, pick up this book to help guide you through. 💓

I loved hearing the sounds the Romanian language my Grandmother used to speak, singing songs written in the darkest hour always reaching for the light: the funny, the hopeful, the resilience. I felt such pride and utter joy at Tes Fest, greeted with open arms by @teatrulevreiesc. Thank you to best travel mates @abbygoldfarb, @avrammlotek and Motl Didner. And to @robynyoukilis for packing my Hot Mama bag with all the essentials to keep my voice, skin and energy on point (will share more 🔜 promise!). I flew back and did an entire concert in NYC the next evening on little sleep yet SO💃🏻 much 💃🏻 love💃🏻. Thank you @folksbiene for the unforgettable opportunity!! #yiddish #yiddishtheater #statejewishtheater . Thanks to @claireharveyphoto for this sweet headshot from @robynyoukilis’ epic event.

Happy birthday to the most gregarious and engaging Abbaleh of mine! Growing up he and my mother would stage elaborate productions every Friday night. He’d dress up as if he was meeting royalty, go to synagogue and pick up anyone in need of a meal and a warm embrace. The doors were always open. Once at the table my father would sing and sing and my mother would offer dish after dish. We’d get to know our guests, people who were strangers minutes earlier- family now. He’s still this way: get into a cab or an elevator with him and he’s the first to strike up a conversation. The first to flirt. The first to connect beyond the surface. He came to this country with less than nothing but his talent and work ethic. A belief in himself that was unmatched. And with his hands, he created beautiful jewelry that graced magazines and department stores. He is the reason I sing, why I believe in the power of art and conversation. He’s the one to exclaim “brava!” and start the standing ovation. The one at the stage door with flowers. He is singular in his ability to make the mundane holy. ((And he’s MY dad. Lucky me)). Happy birthday Abba. Wishing you a year of peace and fulfillment, and tables full of guests to celebrate with.
