High altitude while pregnant and with babies? It’s time for a post as I’ve seen questions every now and then about it! When I was pregnant with Maj we spent time at 4-5000 meter, I mainly checked my oxygen level in the blood and did not want to be lower than 90 % most times I was 94-96. I’m used to altitude and often adapt very well, so this is important to take in account individually. Otherwise go on feeling- if we listen we are good in knowing what’s best for us. Maj 6 months old tagged along with us to Himalaya and once again the saturation O2 we closely monitored aswell as her overall wellbeing- eating/sleeping. As I was breastfeeding it was also very safe to not catch a 🦠. Maj adapted very well and we went up to 4300 masl. When Ylva-Li was 2 and Maj 4 we also went to the Himalayas, and we noticed that Ylva-Li needed more time to adapt to altitude, so we just spent more time lower down. We carried Ylva-Li and rented a horse for Maj when we did longer hikes to move between villages. Maj was a champ on the horse! I think you just need to trust your instincts, make reasearch and feel prepared to change plans if needed! We also have been lucky to have Kilians mum @nuria.burgada with us so that both of us could train well. ❤️

This weekends race was a hard one! First time running the ⬆️ ⬇️ mountain running distance for team 🇸🇪! It has motivated my training this spring, to try a “different ” kind of race distance. I knew it was gonna be hard, and I’m a little disappointed with my race, or more accurate- the feeling. I felt bad from the beginning, but proud to finish. I had more hopes with some good training block in my back. Today I woke up feeling a bit under the water with very low HRV- so hopefully it’s not a bad 🦠 I know most of you know me and my strenghts, so going in to this race is always a bit tricky as some might expect more. I try to focus on my own values and motivation. As we all should try! Meeting new team mates 🇸🇪 is always a pleasure! You all inspire in so many ways. Thank you team ❤️ Tack @svenskfriidrott 1 📸 @flopianezzola

Who loves a cinnamon swirl, vanilla or cardamom bun? Entering the weekend, here’s the recipe I always use for buns!; 5 dl milk 20 grams of yeast for sweet doughs 2 dl powdered sugar 0.5 tsp salt 3 tsp cardamom, ground 13 -15 dl flour 125 grams butter, softened Topping: 100 grams of butter 1.5 dl sugar 2 tablespoons cinnamon, grounded. 2 spoons cardamom 2 spoons vanilla sugar Chopped almonds/ brown sugar This will be around 35-45 buns 1.Melt the butter and add the milk to approximately 37 degrees. Crumble the yeast in a dough bowl. Add the milk and butter and stir until most of the yeast has dissolved. 2 Add sugar, salt, cardamom and most of the flour, but save a little flour (0,1-0,2 liter) for baking out the buns. Work this into a smooth dough. Cover with a kitchen towel and let the dough rise until doubled in size, about 30- 50 minutes. 3 Put the dough on a floured surface and share it in two parts. 4 Work each portion into a thin, about 25×50 cm square. Spread the filling and roll up along the long side. Cut the roll into about 2 cm wide pieces and place them in cake forms (you don´t need cake forms if you don´t have). Variation nr 2 (the one I do on the picture) Roll out the dough to a square that is approx 35×40 cm. Spread filling on half of the dough and fold over. Cut 20-25 strips, twist each strip a twist and fold it into a knot. Voila ! 6. Let buns rise uncovered for 20-30 minutes. Meanwhile, heat the oven to 250 degrees. 7. Brush the buns with a whisked egg and sprinkle with chopped almonds. Bake in owen for 12-15 minutes 8. Enjoy!!

Getting into the good rhythm 🎶 To be honest I was super disappointed to get sick just for the first goal of the season. Then 2 weeks of barely moving, and now slowly starting from, feels like scratch again. I will not dwell about it anymore, moving forward. Life is life. But! I need your help to plan my revenge race 🙏! Can you recommend a race either the 6-7 or 13-14 July? Or 17 August! Btw this colour on my singlet always makes me in a good mood 💚 @nnormal_official 👕

Proud co- founder of our little ♥️ project @moonvalley.me ! At the moment we got a good price on these t-shirts and hoodies! The green one is my favourite 💚 And yes my favourite skirt too by @juadesign
Motivation to run during cold dark snowy days?
For some more weeks I will savour a diverse and free training regime with the most focus on hours.
I still do a little running and my motivation to either go on the treadmill or outside is;
1 Focus on the feeling. It actually feels good the movement, and maybe even more to get it done under the winter conditions.
2 a good serie I can only watch on the treadmill! Blacklist I can recommend! Or a sport documentary.
3 If icy, out spikes ( special ones for shoes 😆) on one pair of shoes. I did it on a well used tomir.
4 find a sauna in your area, enjoy it after ❤️
