👀 WHAT YOU SEE vs WHAT I SEE 👀 (swipe ➡️) I posted this on my story a few days ago and I was overwhelmed by the amount of girls that reached out to me feeling the same ❤️ Just your Monday reminder to stop judging yourself, stop staring at your tummy and wishing it wasn’t there – START accepting yourself for you! And if only you could see yourself through others eyes 👀 you would then not judge yourself quite so harshly Hope this helps anyone today 💫

Just one of those day girls 🌸 (Not everyday is like this and we are 10x more likely to feel like this during our luteal and menstrual phase) Put on the COMFY clothes today and tomorrow is a new day … 💫🫶🏼🥲❤️
1 week of food, sunshine & friends 🧡🇪🇸✨ The best time in Mallorca with the best company … exactly what was needed after a super busy and intense start to 2024 🧡 My first sip of alcohol in 6 months was had on this trip and definitely didn’t disappoint – feel like having 6 months away definitely gave me time to reflect and have clarity on everything … no anxiety was had – even after 3 or 4 glasses, which is definitely making me feel I’ve broken the anxiety cycle 🧡 Also … flying ✈️ this was my first flight this year as I’d made the decision not to fly as frequently because of the anxiety I was developing around flying last year – but again the break from flying seems to have cured the anxiety as I enjoyed the flight there and back 🥰 All round unreal trip with time to relax and reflect on what an amazing start we’ve had to 2024 … and the plans are in place ready for the next half of the year 🧡🇪🇸

Proud daughter post 💫🫶🏼🚀🎯 Had to post this about my mum @barker_deb she joined @madhotfit in March and I’m so blown away by her hard work and dedication to the programme 🫶🏼 She’s lost 3kg (6.6 pounds since joining us 8 weeks ago) and I would say she was SLIGHTLY skeptical upon joining us 👀🤣 She’s done lots of “slimming clubs” and tried lots of low calorie high cardio based diets but nothing has made as much as a difference to her than joining us 🫶🏼 We made the goal not just about “being skinny” the goal was to get stronger mentally and physically Thankyou to one of our incredible coaches – HEAD COACH CEIRE – for pushing my mum, being empathetic but also keeping her accountable every step of the way @coachceire 👏🏼🫶🏼 In only 8 weeks she has managed to run a full 5k without stopping 🚀 Started to love her body again after her hysterectomy a few years ago 🚀 Feel confident putting on clothes that she would have never considered wearing before 🚀 I may be biased but mum … I am so proud of you ❤️❤️❤️

Cast back 5 years … I had my strava app set, my Apple Watch at the ready and I was sweating under the pressure of not failing … I HAD to beat my last 5k time I had to get below 25 minutes There was no choice but to KILL my self to run this 5k quicker than last time There were no excuses I’m on my period, I hadn’t eaten much that day, I was exhausted … they were all just excuses in my head Excuses as to why I was LAZY or WEAK The change came about when I started to realise that running was so much more than a time It was about my headspace and my mental health I suddenly stopped caring about the time on the screen and started caring more about the time I was giving myself FOR ME If you can relate … think about what running does for you and how it serves you 🫶🏼✨

“HOT GIRL SUMMER” ⛔️ Do these words not just scream pressure, diets and Instagram bikini pics … 📸 I’ve been guilty of an 8 x week “detox” so I can look “skinny” in my annual Instagram holiday bikini pic I would cut my calories down to 1200 per day, do a ludicrous amount of cardio and force myself to get back into last years summer clothes All for what? All so I could get a good picture on my holidays Only to spend the rest of the holiday eating everything in sight and drinking copious amount of sangria to drown how painful the last 8 week had been 🍷 I adore having an end in sight 🚀 I adore having targets and goals to hit 🎯 I don’t adore you starving yourself I certainly don’t adore you trying to be “skinny” for the sake of everyone else There is nothing wrong with an 8 x week challenge, in fact we’re running one right now in my fitness app But if you’re embarking on your “hot girl summer” challenge this year – turn down the volume on the pressure I’m here for consistent girl summer this year 💫 a realistic amount of workouts per week 💫 a small calorie deficits which allows you to stick to it and has longevity to it 💫 a realistic step target to hit daily 💫 daily journaling and affirmations 💫 personal development (training your brain as much as you do your body) 💫 a coach that understands your goals and helps you to achieve them without crazy pressure 💫 focus in on what you want to achieve, set your big goal then work backwards and make your plan to get there along with your daily non negotiables you need to achieve Let’s try consistent girl summer this year girls 💫❤️
