Been here for a minute but been too hot, too busy, too borderline deranged to post.
Been thinking about filters the social media turbo charged pressure for perfection. When I look at pictures of me I see lots of things I could *tweak to present a perfect flawless version of myself but personally that don’t sit right with me either in regards to my own well being or in terms of the messaging I put out into the world. This is no way a judgement on anybody else, if I was in my 20s now the lord knows I’d probs to altered filtered to fuck but also enough already – I decided a long time ago now that I refuse to be (too) beholden to this shit, we gotta give ourselves a fkn break !!! | Posted on 09/Apr/2024 17:17:15
