Felicity Palmateer Instagram – EDDIE INVITEE 2023/2024!! My biggest surfing achievement to date and the highest honour in surfing. Ever since I was little I’ve always dreamed of being invited to @theeddieaikau but it wasn’t a reality until last year when the women got to compete for the first time. The ceremony and blessing was so beautiful and to be a part of the paddle out was surreal. Sitting amongst waterman and women that I’ve idolised my whole life didn’t feel real. And to make history with my sis @lauraenever , being the first two Australian women to ever be invited makes it even sweeter. Feeling an a whole range of emotions but more than anything an immense sense of gratitude. Thank you to @haa_aikau and the Aikau Ohana.
