Feminista Jones Instagram – After a whole week of playing in EVERY year-end concert the school presented as a guest, #YungAlmostEmployed (formerly known as #YungJobless) got to do HIS thing in HIS jazz band.
For #BlackMusicMonth let us remember that Jazz music is Black music and there’s a reason the audience members always come up to him after shows and talk about how much they enjoy him. There’s a reason HE gets standing ovations.
He embodies his heritage. The music is in his DNA. The rhythm compels him. The drum moves him.
