The picture maybe blurry but I’m not. So grateful for a perfect birthday celebration with lots of dancing and music and friends. Thank you my husband @tkipw for making it happen.

She asked if I had any advice for actors who might use some emotional support. I said: Know it, know that you have done the work. You have done the work and just keep doing the work. And know there’s no one else like you. The thing that you have to offer is totally unique to you, and that’s a gift; the gift you have to bring to the craft. So emotionally, all the things that hurt, that make you vulnerable—that’s what you have to bring. It’s normal to question and feel like it’s not going to happen. There are times when you think you won’t work again. You have to be able to separate those two things; the side of you that’s vulnerable and also honor it and nurture it and love it. And don’t try to be too tough about it. It’s a gift.

Dabney. You gave me Billy Ray in On Golden Pond. One of my favorite movies of all time. And that awkward moment in 9to5 when when you got strung up. You were the villain, but in the juiciest way. Mostly, you were loving and empathic when I had to express anger by slapping the crap out of you. I wanted to cry, but my job was to slap. And you let me go there. You were The Commodore for me. It was a dysfunctional family but a family nonetheless. I will always treasure the moments we had. You were the truest of gentlemen. RIP#dabneycoleman

Challenge accepted 🙏 @tina_turnbow for thinking of me. All of my friends inspire me in so many different ways-their smarts, their persistence, their sensitivity, their strength, their ability to laugh at themselves, and make me laugh. I’m so excited this film is in competition at Sundance 2022! Congratulations to writer and director@jamiedack and actors @lilliumm @jonathanmtucker and all cast and crew who worked on this one. I’m so proud to be part of it!! Palm Trees and Power Lines / U.S.A. (Director and Screenwriter: Jamie Dack, Screenwriter: Audrey Findlay, Producers: Leah Chen Baker, Jamie Dack) — Seventeen-year-old Lea spends her summer aimlessly tanning with her best friend, tiptoeing around her fragile mother, and getting stoned with a group of boys from school. This monotony is disrupted by an encounter with Tom, a man twice her age, who promises an alternative to Lea’s unsatisfying adolescent life. Cast: Lily McInerny, Jonathan Tucker, Gretchen Mol. World Premiere.
In need of a shave. They grow up way too fast! 📸@claudesnyc

After reading what happened to Elijah, I thought, what if he were my son? This beautiful boy? How can we stay quiet? #justiceforelijahmcclain
