I will try to teach you to recognize and stand up against injustice. I will try to explain to you that Democracy is not the enemy, but that democracy is imperfect and does not work equally for everyone. I will try to explain that sometimes the color of our skin makes a difference when it comes to opportunity and benefit. I will educate you that as a good citizen we can fix democracy when we take responsibility for our neighbor; our community. I will make sure you know that as a good citizen we must vote and be active and informed. And most of all, I will tell you that our country was built and born on protest.
