Imelda May Instagram – I’m so thrilled to perform again at Embassy Gardens Bloomsday Festival in London on Sat June 15.
Co-hosted by @Darbyslondon and the brilliant chef/owner @robin.gill.food

Bloomsday happens every year in Dublin and celebrates the day James Joyce’s masterpiece
book Ulysses is set.
The whole book and all it’s bizarre and brilliant scenarios is about one day in Dublin, June 16th 1904
(the day James Joyce and his love Nora Barnacle got together)
I’m a huge James Joyce fan,
he was such a fascinatiing complex genius and his 7 year written and mostly banned book Ulysses caused outrage,
it was and still is a literary gamechanger in so many ways.

We will celebrate the book,
the writer and our wonderful Irish culture with great music, readings, poetry dancing all while being very
well fed and watered by Darbys.

Curated by one of the nicest and coolest guys you’ll ever meet my great friend and DJ @arveene
it’ll be a day not to be missed.

Register for your free tickets and see you there!

(You don’t have to be Irish
to come of course!)

Imelda May Instagram – “I would like to show my solidarity with the Palestinian people …
and for peace and love,
and against war and children being harmed and maimed,
and against genocide,
and against occupation,
and also for Jewish people who use their voices to fight for peace as well because that’s tough too.”

Btw I checked diligently if it was culturally appropriate and I had absolute blessing to wear this traditional Palestinian dress.
Big love to hero’s
