Jennifer Gimenez Instagram – It is with great sadness that I make this post about our dear friend Rob Hannley’s passing. Rob passed away last night peacefully with his family all around him after his fight with cancer. Rob was an extraordinary human. First and foremost he was one of my best friends and confidants. I 1st met Rob when he put me on the cover of @recoverytodaymag and we became fast and furious friends. I remember when he called me one time and said he loved what I post about and thought I would make a great addition to the magazine by writing for it, he said you be you, #JenniferGimenezTheRealReal, he gave me the freedom I needed to be me and a huge platform to use my voice. At the same time 6 yrs ago as we were building our friendship he started one with my husband @timryandopeman before he and I had met. The one thing with Rob was when either Tim or I would get a call from him or visa versa we knew it was a minimum 1 hr or more conversation. We will miss those calls and cherish all the calls, text, emails, DMs and video chats with him. He did an absurd amount of work for the Recovery Community because he cared that much about people. Rob was a great friend, listener, kind , understanding and loved helping people. He loved his Magazine and put so much effort into his passion, but his first love was his family, his wife Kristine, his 2 children Hayden andGabriella and his brother @ghannley. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hannley family and our #RecoveryTodayMagazine family.
