I’m happy to be a small part of this event Tashi Wada put together with Sarah Cooper at the Getty, will be performing John Cage’s “45’ for a Speaker”, as well as George Brecht’s “Motor Vehicle Sundown (Event)” among others
The afternoon of events will include pieces by Simone Forti, Walter De Maria, George Brecht, Earle Brown, John Cage, Mieko Shiomi, Alison Knowles, Jackson Mac Low, Takehisa Kosugi, Terry Riley, and Dieter Roth, with performances by Simone Forti, Tashi Wada, Julia Holter, Corey Fogel, Luisa Muhr, Celia Hollander, Ezra Buchla, Phoebe Berglund, Andros Zins-Browne, and Dicky Bahto, among others.
