Julia Holter Instagram – new record “No Sun” by @nitejewel is incredible, I’m obviously a big fan of all Ramona’s music (and we’ve been friends for years), but this is the wildest work of hers. It’s heartbreaking but also so warm. I love following the melodies as they meander, the intricate arrangements allow for a lot of space, and the powerful vocal expression is captured intimately in the production and you really feel it. I also love the other brilliant contributions to the record—@coreyvogeln @coreyleegranet @jay_is @jakeviator.wav @tnpain @simonallenbrian Was honored to play a little solo in one of the tracks too. final thought is that this record also feels really musically playful, despite all the intensity, and I love that 🔥❤️❤️ | Posted on 25/Sep/2021 00:14:36
