Karen David Instagram – Thank you, dearest, Andy, for inviting me to @acttochange #aanhpiheritagemonth gathering @ridebackranch for anti bullying and hate. It was incredibly heart warming, inspiring and humbling to see so many amazing women, men, and youth in our community doing such important work and service for those in need and are affected by bullying and hate. This is something that I am deeply passionate about – as a child and teenager, I was subjected to many years of bullying. I am thankful I was able to get through those years because of wonderful parents, family, teachers and mentors who flanked me with compassion, love, “tough love”, support, and encouragement to focus on my journey and self care. The work of #acttochange and other #AANHPI non profit organisations is so fundamentally important in helping the welfare of our community and extended communities.
