Happy 12th anniversary to my 4th album, Voyageur. It was an album I had such high hopes for, songs I’m very proud of still, but also a very difficult time in my life. I lost my hair, I lost my voice, but gained so much in the long run. I still think “Going To Hell” is the best song on the record and I’ll have to re-record the opening track….. “it’s not an empty threat”. ✌🏼 played Letterman for the last time…. So many amazing musicians contributed to this album, for which I’m forever thankful.
Last night I played before @johnfogerty and got to finally see one of my heroes in concert. Nothing short of a religious experience. He had the whole place on their feet. Every note, every guitar solo, every song was perfect. What a band, what a gift to see John play his songs (and celebrate owning them again!). I am overwhelmed by the magic of it all. His music played such an enduring role in my becoming a songwriter- his work is timeless and so is he. ❤️ tremendous gratitude we get to do it all over again tonight in @penguins territory.

Hi friends! We’ve been working on something special and unique this holiday season. For the first time ever, I’ll be doing a limited edition of 25 handwritten lyrics from songs from Failer. Along with that we have signed prints from our time on the Willie Nelson Outlaw Tour signed by me and photographer Mike Dunn (@mikedunnusa) I’m so moved by all your comments and reactions to Failer’s 20th Anniversary and what those songs meant to you. For those of you who would like a personal keepsake, thanks for sticking around, revisiting these songs while writing out the lyrics is a real trip down memory lane for a girl who had no idea where it would take her.
