I’ve been quiet on here because my father passed away. He was and is everything to me. I am very lucky that he is my dad. He was remarkable in almost every way, he lived and breathed music, was an incredible athlete and a very loving father with a mental resilience that I’m in awe of. The last 5 weeks of his life I was able to take care of him and I am so grateful for that. I miss him terribly but he told me to do as Herbie Hancock did with Miles: “People still ask me if I miss Miles. The honest answer is, I don’t. But that’s only because I don’t think of him as being gone. For me, Miles never went away. He may not be here physically, but he’s still here, because he’s in me.” I am very lucky. I am heartbroken. ❤️💔 The last slide is from some of the articles that came out about my father’s life work.
