My plan was to join much more of the trip, but since I was still only 2 weeks out from my surgery & I wasn’t ready to do hard, long hikes .. LOOK WHO’S JOGGING AGAIN 😭🫶🏼 Tomorrow marks the 4 week date since my fusion surgery & I am so thankful for how well my recovery has been going! The first two weeks were BY FAR the most challenging, but these past two weeks have felt like I have taken so many steps forward! BEFORE anybody starts worrying: I got cleared by my surgeon to start excercising, including jogging! That actually really surprised me. The first two times I tried jogging it didn’t feel good, so I left it at that. I am really not wanting to push my body to do anything it is not ready to do. But yesterday: IT FELT GOOD ❤️☺️⚡️ It was only for 200m at a time & at a zone 2 pace but I am so proud & so happy about this improvent! Other things I am doing: – Stretching (wow NEED IT 😅) – Biking (Lots of biking & only thing I will put any intensity into) – Planks, dead bug toe taps, side planks – Pressing & light bodybuilding – Glute & lower body activation with a band around knees Things I can NOT do: – Lift Heavy – Any twisting of my back Getting in about 1 hour of exercise a day these days to keep my soul happy & body HEALTHY 🤍🫶🏼✨

Tvær hraustustu konur landsins, þær Katrín Tanja Davíðsdóttir og Annie Mist Þórisdóttir, segja að þeim hafi opnast hulinn heimur þegar þær fóru að kynna sér hvaða hreyfing virki best fyrir konur á breytingaskeiði. Þær bjóða nú upp á ráðgjöf um næringu, hreyfingu og allt sem viðkemur breytingum í líkamanum á þessu skeiði. Það kom reyndar ekki til af góðu að þær fóru að skoða hreyfingu og mataræði kvenna á þessu lífsskeiði. Þær sáu það einfaldlega á mæðrum sínum að það sem virkaði vel fyrir þær áður hentaði þeim alls ekki lengur. Þrátt fyrir að mæður þeirra legðu sig allar fram sáu þær lítinn árangur af erfiðinu.
