Kausar Mohammed Instagram – We landed in Toronto for tiff and opened our phones to THIS!!!!!! our article in @vogue!!! a big part of what’s been driving us this whole time, and why I wanted to write this, was to allow ourselves as queer muslim south asian folks to exist in JOY and FAMILY on screen.
And this article sums it up so well: “It’s long past time for the love stories of queer and trans people of color to be told onscreen in all their occasionally awkward, messy, ultimately beautiful glory.”
