The brilliant @drjeffreythompson in HEAL reminds us that there comes a point in life where you find yourself at a fork in the road. You can go one way and follow the path of “should” motivated by fear or outside pressure. Or you can go the other way following the path of your heart and soul. If you ignore the whispers of your soul and start down SHOULD Ave., that’s when dis-ease begins. I think this Howard Thurman quote embodies that sentiment. We all come into this life with unique and beautiful gifts to share and express. Yours are just as important as mine. You will know what they are because doing them makes you feel ALIVE! I have witnessed so much beauty, so many miracles, and so many God winks in my life, I can’t help but surrender and trust in the divine perfection of all that is unfolding 🤍 Some aspect of your life might seem dark, stressful, heartbreaking, or scary to you right now but I always go back to the fact that we’ve made it this far! Nature/Spirit/Source is far more intelligent than our little human minds can fathom. And we ARE NATURE ✨ There is a reorganization and a recalibration happening on the personal and collective levels. Think COCOON before the BUTTERFLY. A metamorphosis. Something has to die before something new is born. So if you are on a healing journey let the “old self” die away so the new, healthy, TRUE YOU can emerge. Surrender, let go, trust… into EASE. The planet is healing, society is healing, and we are healing. It may not look like it from the outside but after all the beauty, magic, miracles, and good I’ve witnessed in my life… I TRUST THE BUTTERFLY WILL EMERGE 🦋 ….always does. That’s all 🤣 Thoughts?
I love this quote because I believe if you have a dream or desire in your heart, you also have everything you need to realize that dream. Otherwise, it wouldn’t light you up inside. There is a magnetic pull towards the life you are meant to live ⚡️ I also believe this has another meaning. Since our subconscious beliefs color the lens through which we look at life, if we have a belief that we are not worthy, we will only be able to see evidence of that unworthiness in the world around us. And if evidence to the contrary presents itself (that we are worthy of our dreams!), we will not trust or believe it. If we are seeking love but subconsciously believe we are not worthy of love or we are unloveable in all our imperfect humanness, our lens will filter out anything that shows we are worthy. And so over time those negative and limiting beliefs get stronger. And the lens becomes more colored and distorted. In an effort to clean our lens and align with our dreams and desires, please share below ways you have successfully healed or reprogrammed a negative, limiting belief about yourself?
