오늘 공식적으로 국가대표 은퇴식을 했습니다. 2020도쿄 올림픽 이후 인터뷰 때 국가대표 은퇴를 얘기하며 정말 많은 눈물을 흘렸던 거 같습니다. 오늘은 몇 년이 흘러서 괜찮을지 알았는데 역시나 울컥하는 마음은 여전한 거 같습니다. 10살 때 배구를 시작해 국가대표를 꿈꾸며 앞만 보고 달렸던 거 같습니다. 그런 소녀가 커서 국가대표의 꿈을 이뤄내고 한 팀을 이끄는 리더로 성장했습니다. 팀이 좋을 때 또는 좋지 않을 때 리더로서 또 국가대표로서 부담감과 중압감도 많이 있었습니다. 하지만 많은 분들의 응원과 성원 덕분에 힘든 시간을 잘 버텼던 거 같습니다. 진심으로 감사드립니다. 이제 국가대표 유니폼을 입고 뛰지는 못하지만 계속해서 배구 발전을 위해 노력하겠습니다. 다시 한번 오늘 와주신 모든 분들과 항상 응원해 주시는 모든 분들 진심으로 감사드립니다. -김연경 올림- #notendbutand
