Chapter Four: The Build Up
Kim : I spent the early hours of the morning waiting for nerves to kick in … they never came. I spent the morning in calmness, getting my make up done by Kath as I do most mornings I am working. Surrounded by family and cups of tea and chatter… all a familiar feeling and setting.
We had created a full call-sheet for
Everyone for the day so we could
‘Hit our marks’ and all run to time. I ate breakfast on the floor with Brooke and Kath, helped curl my sisters hair, took photos, showed my dress to my dad and step mum and then my step dad. Then it was time… although the nerves never came, the excitement grew as the 10:30am go time drew closer! I was ready!!
Tom : Having my mum and son in the room for the finishing touches was a very proud moment for all of us.. I am about to say yes to Kim and change our lives forever! 🩷
