The last show of the tour ended in Mexico City in the most magical way. Frida Kahlo came to visit and made me the happiest girl in the world.!
Not only was my show complete in Mexico- but my entire artistic career!!
For she has always been my Eternal Muse Cheering me on through the good Times and the bad.

On the day before our 80th show of the Celebration Tour I need to acknowledge my incredibly talented children who carried me through this Journey each of them bringing their own unique talent to the stage
Rehearsals began over a year ago with almost a 2 month break waiting for me recover from a near death experience. They never stopped practicing… they never stopped cheering me on and supporting me.
There enthusiasm kept me Going!!!
They were also going to school and rehearsing every night. !! . am so very proud of all of them.
I think what my children learned the most this year of rehearsing and performing is that if you want to follow your dreams, you have to work hard for them. And if all of them choose something different later in life, they will never forget this year of blood, sweat, and tears. Nor will I. ♥️

Wherever there is conflict Children suffer…… Ukraine, Palestine, Israel, Yemen, Syria, Nigeria, Congo, Malawi……. The list goes on and on We may not agree on much but I pray we can all agree that Our children need to be protected! On June 15th world leaders will gather in Switzerland for the Global Peace Summit focused on an End to the war in Ukraine and the return of more than 19.000 Ukrainian Children who were torn from their families and deported to Russia. When I arrived in New York for the first time in 1979 — They made an awkward girl from Michigan feel like she fit in, like she wasn’t a freak and. That it was OK to be different. I am forever indebted. In this increasingly chaotic world, we are living in. I will never stop fighting for diversity, inclusiveness and equal rights for all!!! DON’T HIDE YOUR PRIDE! 🏳️🌈!
