Yay, we made it past 30 weeks! 🤰👶🏻❤️ . . This deffo isn’t the pregnancy journey I wanted…Thanks to PPROM, I have been in hospital a while and will certainly not be going anywhere anytime soon, but I’m SO happy to have reached this milestone. . Every single day since PPROM has ups and downs and we’ve had some serious frights, intense moments and a huge amount of uncertainty, confusion and sadness, but I’m taking this one day at a time. Every day we achieve is an absolute bonus 🙏🏻 . Being all alone in hospital during this and not being allowed a single visitor sucks but I am SO grateful for all the love, care and support I’m receiving -at a distance- from my partner, my family and my lovely friends (not to mention lots of support from people on social media etc). It helps me to stay positive 🙏🏻 . Any other ladies going through this right now, keep going. It’s a scary time but we got this mammas and everything is going to be ok. A walk a day, helps keep mental health problems at bay – especially when the sun shines on you…😊 . . I think I’d be going mad without my solo daily walk at the moment, I’m loving them and the headspace they bring. If you’re working from home too; make sure you’re up, showered, presentable etc and make an effort to get outside for a stretch of the legs – it will make you feel better. . . . I’ve just had a rant about this on my story and now I feel the need to post it here so it stays…Seriously people – stop hoarding/overbuying. You are leaving the lowest paid, the elderly, the vulnerable, the shift workers – with nothing. . . These empty shelves are avoidable. Shops are open and even if you need to self isolate, others can shop for you. Honestly, there is no excuse for this and it’s heartbreaking to see people having to go without. . .
