Misha Highstead Instagram – Water is becoming more and more of a precious resource around the world.
Case in point, millions of people in Colombia’s capital of Bogota, have just had their drinking water rationed.
Reason is that reservoirs which provide the city with seventy percent of its water, have fallen below twenty percent capacity!
According to the mayor’s office, this is the result of “long weeks without rain due to the impact of the El Nino phenomenon. And I’ll just add in that climate change sure isn’t helping!
Along with having to ration drinking water, people are being advised to cut down on their shower time, minimize their clothes washing, and of course reduce their garden watering!
