I’m glad we got to share the stage one more time. I’m glad I got to hear his brilliance one more time. I am feeling for my friends and musician community today that was hit hard with this news. Megalomaniacs Ball has Moved to the Broadside! We are super stoked to be playing with our New Orleans Pals HollyRock and my New Orleans Band The New Fuck Yeahs. Punkadelick will play first at 11pm performing songs from Inflorescence and our forthcoming cumbia record that Chad Meise and I just finished up mixing .. well Chad did the Mixing and I was the jackass dancing to the wonderful input from a bevy of musicians including David Shaw,Tiff Lamson, Steve Berlin ,Rurik Nunan, Shane Theriot, Calvin Arsenia, Marco Pascolini , Theresa , and Larry Lalonde.. Nikki and Brian gave their all and after 37 years since I first made a demo to Two inch tape in Denton with the Gone Men back in 86, I feel like the creative juices just keep getting better and better. The espresso here in Adelaide Australia is wonderful. We play the first of 6 shows with Rickie Lee Jones tonight. Grateful to be touring the planet and playing music with so many amazing people.
