Numa Perrier Instagram – this image will always be one of my favorite on set. Im a low key DP I shot & lit a lot of my early work on super 8mm and I love being as close to my actors as possible. I don’t like being in the damn village high up on the chair staring at the monitor — I want to be in it! That’s not always possible though (or safe) so I learned to also develop & love the craft of intimacy with the monitors & I have my own obsession with it now. I don’t know what set life really looks like going forward but I’m not mad at somewhat smaller sets and french hours I’ve been pushing for the 8/10 hour day since my web series days 😂 mostly I just miss being there.
