First long trip in 3 years and So happy that we are heading in the direction of normalisation, more flights, cheaper flights, less restrictions…yeah! 😁 My wonderful camera phone has been a double edged sword in this trip. As much as I wanted to document my journey and share with my loved ones, I often had to sit myself down and let my senses take over, have them come alive with every sight of beauty I encounter. “My phone has the images stored n now, let my soul be immersed in where I am.” I remind myself, constantly. 😊
The Bamboo Grove is just a highlight of the Arashiyama area. There are many shrines, parks that are worth visiting and side tracking. A place of scenic beauty. There are so much to take in🩷
The scent of lavender always brings me calmness and the visit to the lavender farm is the main reason why I chose Hokkaido as my latest destination. Well, the scenery could be more romantic if there were less tourists around for sure, but I did manage to find my little corner where I took in all that I could.🧘♀️

Grateful to have a few good months of rest and the opportunity to feed my appetite for travelling. Ended my Hokkaido trip with a flu bug and a desire to be home as soon as possible. I took that as a sign from the universe, telling me that it is enough. It is. I’m ready to assume my next role, dive into a new alternate universe, with some trusty comrades. It’s going to be all too familiar yet alien at the same time. My heart is ready. N I’ll see some of you on set soon😎
