It is especially true when you have experienced the joy of giving without expecting anything in return. I volunteered as an English teacher to foreign brides for many years. The joy of my students picking up English vocabulary and texting me in English puts a smile on me everytime.
A big Thank you to anyone who has been or is a volunteer in whichever way you have chosen to offer your time. Your decision to volunteer has renewed faith in humanity and made someone’s day a little sweeter.
