Dyfi. ❤️😍 i decided to move to dyfi in winter 2014, I moved in with @dan_atherton for the winter & then met @ollydavey ❤️
The next 2 years I had nearly TWO perfect seasons, getting 2nd at World Cup 1 in 2015 and then winning everything for the next 2 years… injured in 2017… 2018 then gave me another world champs win & World Cup title…
I never imagined what the next 10 years would hold 🥰🌈✊.
The Dyfi valley set me free. The locals embraced us. The terrain gave me the ability to train hard & win 3 world championship titles, 3 World Cup overalls.
In 2019 we launched @athertonbikes & I won 2 world cups on our own bikes before I snapped my Achilles’ tendon 🥺
We then opened @dyfibikepark in 2019
I had our baby girl Arna in 2021…
It’s been a WHIRLDWIND since I moved to dyfi… and only now am I slowing down enough appreciate it all….
I’m at another huge crossroads in my life & I’m trying to find that same instinct to trust in…. But it feels harder this time!
To imagine a life without racing is so scary, so so scary. I can’t race forever & ever 😂
But having dyfi bike park to ride , hang out & see friends & just see you all having such a good time, it’s so so rad ❤️

Solo Adventures 🥰 but AM I A GENIUS ?! Have I discovered something new or does anyone else do this with their mid ride redbull?!! 🤯👌👌
Honestly I couldn’t believe I’ve never put my redbull in here for the climb 😂 instead of spending the whole climb holding it between brake lever and grip 😂
Anyway, last week I was trying to pedal some distance & I set off with good intentions, but when I pedalled past the jumps…. I literally spent the whole time just lapping the middle section of the @oakleybike Icon Way jumps @dyfibikepark 😂
It was so good just carving jumps solo & taking in this view on the climb back up 😍😍
This was my first time properly testing @athertonbikes 170mm early April – this is the production version & it is RIDICULOUSLY fun, probably one of the most fun bikes I’ve ever ridden 😍😍 the BB is a bit lower so you corner like you’re on rails (like your Dan Atherton!) but it doesn’t effect ride height or anything…
@dan_atherton worked with the team to design this bike to be the perfect “do it all” bike & it bloody well does!!
We’ve sold a lot of these 170s now & your guys rave about them, so so cool hearing you love them like we do! 🤛

An ORGANIC hotel 🥹🤩🥰 @biohotelrupertus is the most incredible place 🙏🏽 organic food, bed linen etc etc – & right here in Leogang – a 100% organic hotel & surrounded by the most incredible dramatic mountains with so much to do & explore for us & arna ❤️🤩 what a place!! It’s The holiday of our dreams for sure, & we’re just a few hundred Metres from the World Cup finish @bikeparkleogang 🥰🥰 I would 100% recommend this place for a holiday, it’s such a rad place with biking on the doorstep – organic should be the standard way of life & not the exception – I’ve never stayed in an organic hotel before & it’s amazing ❤️🙏🏽 Thank you much @biohotelrupertus for gifting us a this stay 🙏🏽 we’ll be back with the whole fam!!
