Rajshri Deshpande Instagram – Finally I met her. I was nervous and I wanted to apologise to her for giving her this world. I looked at the 13 year old eyes with my moist eyes she looked back to me with her twinkling eyes and gave me a beautiful bright smile. As if she wanted to say, ‘You still have time to change this world for us.’
She gave me strength.
But unfortunately It’s been more than a month now and still waiting for justice on POCSO case. Hope her culprits get arrested asap.
Honestly I don’t want to just keep dreaming of that perfect world. And somewhere I understood that I not going to get it if I am only dependent on people, society, politicians or even government. Always waiting for someone else to raise their voice for a sustainable and safe future. If I am dreaming then I will have to work n create that world that tribe who equally wants life where we all live and breathe in peace.
Fortunately there are few dreamers, mentors becomes a guiding light and inspire me with their work. Imagine if every individual takes step and work towards change then the work will be somewhere faster. Isn’t it? Then a 13 year old girl doesn’t have to go through atrocity.
