A Midsummer Night’s Dream is one of my favorite comedies by William Shakespeare and I have the thrill of directing this production with the resident, fearless, creative design team at House of Bards. We have a cast united by their talent, training, beauty and eccentricity. I can’t wait for you to meet them and welcome back some of our cherished, returning performers!! I LOVE ACTING, and playing with others on a stage where the audience is literally the sounding board of my character’s consciousness and moment to moment choices. It’s a gift that keeps on giving, as every experience provides an opportunity to learn more about our nature. Thanks for letting me throw everything out there during our rehearsals, Jacob, with your infectious laughter encouraging me. I found that having tried it all, at least once with you, I could release attachments to my desire ‘to being funny’, and enjoy being 102 years old with shingles and arthritis. Who hoo!
