Ruby Chase O’Neil Instagram – What’s the most difficult lesson you have had to learn? How do you keep going when everything feels hopeless? How do we even do this human thing when its overwhelming and hard, when there’s pain and sadness that overtakes you? At some point, for me, I knew there was a lesson to learn in all of this, something to heal, something to forgive, some meaning behind this darkness, that there is always a way back to some light, back to the feeling of love. The biggest realization I had, in hindsight, was all my biggest hardships and obstacles became a source of the greatest light for me. I wouldn’t be the man I am today without accepting and loving the ugliest parts of myself, and without forgiving and letting go of shame. The part of me that has hurt, and hurts. Sometimes we HAVE to fall, so we can REALLY rise. We hold on to the past, our fears, our mistakes, our worries. We hold on so tight, and now its time to let go. SURRENDER IS THE VICTORY. Its gonna be a bumpy road, just remember you need those bumps, the bumps have some magic u can unlock, you got this. I love you all sm.
