So pumped to be coming back to #STLV this year, happening August 1-4th. It’s going to be so amazing to see my Star Trek Family, and have a little Star Trek: Discovery reunion to celebrate the ending of the show. It’s going to be a great time 😍 You can find the link to tickets and all the events on @creationent website. I can’t wait to see you all there! 😘 Xoxo S 💚🖖🏻 #startrek #startrekdiscovery #creationentertainment #convention
A little #BTS of what usually happened to us in the loopy, late night/early hours of the morning on shoot days. I’m going to guess this was one of our Fraturdays. You’ve probably heard these stories, but I thought it’d be fun to share this one that I happened to record starring @couttsemily as the lead in her rendition (and creation) of what I’m calling “Ginger Town.” Supported vocals by: @albinokid1026 @wcruz73 and Oyin Oladejo. Laughter and wonder supplemented by: @ronnierowejr @rachael.ancheril, Myself and everyone else who was probably off camera. I love this group❤️🖖🏻😂 #startrek #startrekdiscovery #bts @startrek @startrekonpplus
This gave me full body goosebumps. His focus. His instincts. His redirects. His teammates. 🔥🙌🏻 Via @matt_siapno #getit #motivation #mistakes #dontstop #gratitudeattitude #mood #inspiration
Star Trek: Discovery appreciation post #2. This Family. The Cast. The Crew. Everyone. I have been blessed to work on many amazing sets, but the family we became on this show was something I had yet to experience. @therealsonequa at the forefront of bringing everyone together. Truly our captain on and off the screen. The wildly late nights, the incredible talks in between takes, the laughter, the dance parties, the musicals we created on the bridge (usually led by the one and only @actordougjones). The 4am loopy sing-a-longs as we tried hard to hold on to our sanity. The game nights on weekends off. The outings. The hangs. The life changing discussions. And the entire Star Trek Family. The fans. Especially the fans. The conventions. I remember being so nervous when I booked the show. Being nervous how to be part of something so big. I remember my first convention ever (#STLV back then) and I didn’t know what to expect. Thank you to everyone who shows up to say Hi at cons, on social media, all of it. Thank you for supporting us all on this journey. Love for you all 🖖🏻❤️ #startrek #startrekdiscovery #bts #family
With Star Trek: Discovery reaching the series finale, I know we’re all taking time to reflect on our years and the impact of this show. My gratitude for this show and for these people is immense. So I’m going to dedicate a few posts to some of the most memorable moments for me. Beginning here, where it all started. Thank you to the entire prosthetics team, for the creativity, artistry, and execution of Airiam. Thank you to @actordougjones for taking me under his wing and showing me how to dive into the world of prosthetics and the acting, patience, and grace required. Thank you to the fans for falling in love with this character like I did. #startrekdiscovery #airiam #dougjones #seriesfinale #startrek Posted @withregram • @cbstvstudios Creating a cyborg isn’t easy, but with the talent of #StarTrekDiscovery’s prosthetics supervisor @jrmackinnon any alien transformation is possible. #StarTrekFYC #CBSTVStudiosFYC 🖖💫 @glennhetrickalchemyfxstudio @nevillepage @mthreefx @versionsofu @ozfx @chrisbridges4 @mobscene13 @saramitich
This moment. This acting transition. One of my faves of all time. Is it real? Is it a dream? Friendly reminder CONTROL is available on most streaming platforms 🌟 This movie will forever hold a special place in my heart💗
This week on the Gratitude & Growth Podcast I answer Kearsten’s question. I asked what you all wanted to hear more about and she asked to hear “more on how to keep a positive, abundant mindset among negative people and the news.” This is a great one and super important in today’s world. It takes an awareness of your subconscious, what you’re filling it with, how you start and end your day, and everything in between! I lay out some specific tools and exercises I used to keep my mindset sharp. I’m also doing a GRATITUDE CHALLENGE for the month of May, beginning TODAY, May 1st. Join me if you feel like you need a little boost of positivity in your life. You can find all the details in my Instagram stories on this profile and @saramitich. I use the tools I speak of in this episode in a practical, physical, actionable way. The episode is available now on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Youtube. All links in the bio – simply click the Linktree and select your desired listening platform. I’d so appreciate it if you would take a moment and leave a rating, a review and subscribe to the podcast on those platforms. It helps get the podcast out there. Let’s share this inspiring content with the world! Much love, S 💚 #gratitude #challenge #mentaldisicpline #personaldevelopment #actor #growth #positivity #awareness #podcast #begrateful
I’ve decided to do a GRATITUDE CHALLENGE for the month of May and would love for you to join me! If you’re looking to shift your mindset and infuse your life with more positivity, this challenge is for you. I found myself spiralling into some negativity in April as I navigated some challenges that came my way and began really using all my tools and resetting my mindset to a more positive place and the internal and external changes began happening within a couple days. So, I decided to do a challenge for myself to solidify it all – and I figure why not include you all in the process! I do these challenges for myself, but I’ve never shared them publicly. This’ll give you a real-time look at how I use gratitude intentionally to not only navigate life events but enhance my overall experience of day-to-day living. The set-up is very simple: every day from May 1st to May 31st I’ll post a Gratitude Exercise in my stories for that day. Each week will have a theme based on infusing gratitude in that specific area of my/your life, and each day will build on the previous one, as will each week. If you happen to find this challenge mid-way through, all the exercises will be in a HIGHLIGHT REEL on my page, so feel free to start from the beginning so you get the full effect of the challenge. I will also pose QUESTION BOXES in my stories for you to share any insights, discoveries, or learnings you are experiencing and then I will do a podcast episode sharing and revealing those insights to everyone! I am excited to share and do this alongside whoever feels called to join. This is a great opportunity to gain awareness of your thoughts, self-talk, and to build mental discipline and personal integrity. LET’S DO THIS🔥 Much love and appreciation, Sara 💚 #gratitudechallenge #mindsetshift #love #positivity #mentaldiscipline #integrity #awareness #fun #letsdothis #actor #podcast #perception #perspective
I have a few openings in my virtual coaching schedule beginning May 2024. In addition to being a working actor, I have been an acting coach for almost a decade. Many of my clients have landed (and continue to land) lead roles in Feature Films and TV Shows across top networks and streaming platforms. I also work in-depth with actors on pre-production coaching, as well as on-going developmental work for those actors looking to stretch their skillsets or dive safely into material that they are hesitant or nervous to explore (everything from drama to comedy). My main goal as an acting coach is the same as my main goal in life: to provide the space and tools to help you step into the highest and most authentic version of yourself. I am all about discipline when it comes to my clients and their work, but I am also all about creating a character/scene/audition that is YOURS. We have to follow the rules of genre, frame, and the technical components of on-camera acting, but more importantly the “product” is YOU. I work to align who you are and who you want to be with the character they’ve given us on the page. There is no cookie-cutter formula, I show up and work with who you are that day because we are constantly changing, growing, and evolving. As actors we are here to tell moving and authentic stories that resonate with our audience. The only way we can do that is if we tell it through the lens of our own. Please contact [email protected] for inquiries or more information. #actingcoach #actor #coach #filmandtv #selftape #audition #preproduction #development #authenticity
This week on the Gratitude & Growth Podcast I chat about Resistance and Practicing Defenselessness. This is a big one for me, especially lately. Even editing this episode reminded me of all the things I needed to hear as I hunker down and try to navigate some changes and challenges in my life at this very moment. I dive into resistance, why we label things “good” or “bad”, how it’s all linked to control, surrender, and how we waste our actual energy and time resisting things because we think they “should” be a certain way (versus what is actually in front of us). The episode is available now on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Youtube. All links in the bio – simply click the Linktree and select your desired listening platform. A lot of people ask me how to find more gratitude in their life. This is something I will get into more on the podcast, but I wanted to share one way I do it. Most mornings I am usually up about an hour before the sun rises. It’s my favourite time of day. I sit outside (when I can) and I sip my coffee and put pen to paper. I start with at least 10 things I am grateful for and why I am grateful for them, and then let it go from there. Some days it turns into pages and pages of gratitude, other days it’s writing out my anxiety, other days it turns into poems/writings (I’m not sure what to call them if I’m being honest) that flow out of me. This came to me this morning. I call it “Another Day”. My secret to finding more gratitude is to really SEE the beauty in life. In every moment. No matter what is going on in the world or in life, I have learned there is always something to be grateful for. From that sip of coffee to feeling the bubbles over my hands when I wash the dishes to resting my hands on the steering wheel of my car. I call it: Finding Magic in the Mundane. When you do that – your life changes. Gratitude doesn’t have to be precious. It doesn’t have to be saved only for “special” moments. I fill my mornings with as much gratitude for life as I can. Even on the “bad” days (especially on those days). You don’t have to be an early riser like me, some people just aren’t. But filling your morning with gratitude sets your whole day on fire. Trust me on that one 🌟 Episode 2 of the podcast introduces many ways to start infusing Gratitude into your life. Take a listen — all the links are in my bio. Grateful for you all, S💚

Happy New Moon in Capricorn. The first of 2024 🌟 I’m not a master of Astrology (I leave that to some wonderful people in my life: @blythehubbard @stillwateralchemy @moon.flower.reiki) but I feel this moon in my gut. It’s about legacy. It’s about passion. It’s about purpose. So – what are you passionate about? What drives you? What fuels your creativity and sparks inspiration inside you? Why do you do what you do every day that you wake up? I’ve been going through an interesting recalibration these last few weeks, and I feel like the last pieces are slotting themselves into the puzzle. It feels both beautifully soft and incredibly powerful. A blend of Grace and Strength. A big shoutout to the wildly talented @matthewbennettphotos for this shoot we did. Matthew and I go back a few years. He was there at the start of my Summer of Sadness. He introduced me properly to a punching bag. Then to Krav Maga. He witnessed as I did my first chin up (something I never thought I could do). He let me express some serious anger and hurt into that punching bag – a gift I am forever grateful for. To end up on the other side of his camera was an equally amazing gift. And thank you to @ninozka_mua for working your magic and letting me lean into this side of myself. Stay full of Grace friends, and stay full of Strength. It doesn’t have to be one or the other ✨ Much love, S 💚
I lost both my grandparents, 3 days apart, a couple weeks ago. One was somewhat “expected” (what a weird thing to even type) and one was not. I am not a stranger to death knocking on my door, nor am I wildly familiar with it. I am not afraid of death in any way, I know it’s such a natural part of life, and I find their almost joint passing wildly and beautifully poetic. Death always reminds me of some things and inspires me, so I thought I’d share. Swipe through the slides for more details and stories behind them, but here are the bullet points: 1. Be Kind 2. Be Compassionate (a big, heartfelt thank you to @staplescanada) 3. The Tendency To Judge 4. Forgive 5. Drama Addiction 6. The Way You Treat Yourself Is The Way You Treat Others 7. Surrender 8. Life Is Short 9. A picture of my Grandparents I’m so grateful for both my grandparents. They taught me so much. They had a big hand in my upbringing. They both worked so hard, sacrificed a lot for my family, and both had such incredible wisdom and life stories. They brought so much love into my life. I started writing a list of everything they taught me, introduced me to, and changed in me, but the list is too long and to choose only a few things doesn’t do them justice. So I’ll hold on to those things in my heart, for me. I’m also so grateful and not in the least bit surprised that their passing has taught me even more about myself – about the person I am and the person I want to be. I am so grateful for this recalibration and remembrance that’s happening quietly inside me. Until we meet again, Baba i Deda. Hvala za sve.❤️🌟🙏🏻
